preparation for Louisville’s most exciting pet event yet – the Louisville Pet Lover’s Expo!
The Louisville Pet Lover’s Expo is a celebration of the bond between pets and their people. It will take
place on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th at the Kentucky Exposition Center
(Fairgrounds). This two-day event includes:
Shopping at more than 125 pet-related vendors. Includes vendors from around the country
including the Louisville area, Chicago, Virginia, Indianapolis, Ohio, Wisconsin and Michigan!

“Rescue me” Area. People can interact with adoptable pets from more than 10 local shelters
and rescue groups.
Tickets to the Expo will be available for $5 for adults, $3 for children between 6 years to 12 years old;
and free to children 5 and under. Pet owners are welcome to bring leashed pets that have been spayed
and neutered. (Up-to-date shot records must be presented at the door.)
A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to Pet Groups United. The mission of Pet Groups United is to
provide leadership, knowledge, educational opportunities and financial support to member groups for
their individual missions and for development and implementation of collaborative and innovative
programs for animals.
